Travel & On-Site Registration for QTPOC Conference February 28-29 @ UC Riverside




Friday Check-In for Opening with Angelica Ross:
We highly recommend you arrive by 6pm at the HUB 302 Lobby to check into the conference and get wrist-banded to enter HUB 302 for the Opening with Angelica Ross. Because this event is also open to the UCR campus and the community, we can only hold reserved conference attendee seating until 6:30pm on Friday.

Location:
The QTPOC Conference will be held on the UC Riverside campus in the Highlander Union Building (HUB). For a detailed map of the entire UCR campus, click here. Please note the construction site you will need to walk around between Lot 1 and the HUB, in the image above.

Parking:
Parking is FREE!! Attendants will be giving out free permits on Friday 5pm to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 11am in Lot 1. Please tell the parking attendant you are attending the QTPOC Conference and you will be given a free parking permit for the day. If you arrive after these times, stop at the Info Kiosk next to Lot 1 on W. Campus Drive to pay for your permit at the Info Kiosk window Saturday.


On-Site Registration
  • The On-Site Registration Rate to attend Saturday’s events is $20, cash only. Friday’s opening is free.
  • The Registration table will be located in the Lobby outside HUB 302 and will be available starting at 6pm on Friday and at 9am on Saturday.
  • Please note that the student group QTPOC of UCR can accept cash ONLY. They cannot accept credit cards, payment apps, checks, or any other form of payment. Several ATMs are located next to the HUB. A receipt can be provided upon request.
  • Those who register On-Site are not reserved a box lunch or t-shirt. However, we will give away extra box lunches and t-shirts on Saturday. The Habit restaurant is also open on Saturday to purchase your own food. We have plenty of morning hospitality for all.
  • Group Registration only applies to people who registered online by the deadline. We cannot swap out registered names if someone cancels.
